ABOUT US

Synthetech is a sister-company to our well established leisure and commercial marine rigging business Wet Tech Rigging. 

Our background is in commercial engineering, having completed a Mechanical Engineering degree from UNSW in 2009 and worked the following 10 years for a ship design consultancy; giving a sound understanding of strength requirements, safety factors and working loads.

Our rigging business has run in parallel over this entire period,  and Synthetech has now been separated from the marine rigging business to provide a specific resource targeted at the Commercial space, with industry-appropriate safety factors applied.

Synthetech primarily produces certified load rated connectors, strops and slings. We are not trying to compete with the mass-produced / import market; rather utilising high quality, independently tested cordage and components from reputable suppliers to produce some of the best quality and most reliable kit you will find – all fully customisable as required and made to order right here in Australia.
